Design Principles

These princples should guide each digital initiative and serve as a touchstone

  1. Start with needs

    Our user's needs should come first. NKF's objectives should come second. We should focus our energy most where user's needs and NKF's objectives overlap. This is the best way to build quality services.

  2. Design with data

    about the user and about your objectives.

  3. Do less

    The design should be simple. The scope of the project should be as minimal as possible. Getting ahead of ourselves requires too many assumptions, which result in mistakes and wasted energy.

  4. Iterate

    Then iterate again, again, again...
